I spent over a decade as a trial attorney at Federal Defenders of San Diego, one of the most respected public defender offices in the nation. During that time, I trained and mentored attorneys from top law schools across the country.
I grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona, in a home with core values of hard work, integrity, decency, and humor. I went to public schools, earned my economics degree from Reed College, and worked at the Federal Reserve before becoming a lawyer.
